The location is absolutely stunning, so quiet and peaceful! The staff were so friendly, welcoming helpful and always with a smile. My husband is allergic to feathers and the accommodated us and changed the linens within 5 minutes of raising the issue. The bed was the best bed we have slept in in a long time, so comfortable! We stayed 3 nights and those were some of the best nights of sleep we have had in a very long time! The hotel communal areas of the hotel were also great, granted if you really look close in so areas it may need some touching up but nothing major at all, it is clean, tidy, well decorated and maintained. I am allergic to dust and a lot of other crap and did not have any reactions. The food was excellent but a bit on the high end, although the portions were generous. The spa facilities were also good. Brandon was very welcoming and helpful. We got a massage, mine by Caroline who was excellent, so relaxing.

The road leading to the hotel is like driving through a disney movie or another world, I was literally speechless looking at the view. I got to the hotel and that too was beautiful, the rooms are very nice for the price point, the evening meal was lovely and great value for money, but the view out of the dining room over the lock was priceless, I would of happily paid double or triple the price. they have a spa and leisure facilities including a pool and gym which is free to access. Book there just for the view.

Good, lots of choice. Extra £7 for some items is a bit cheeky though, eg for avocado on toast. £7 extra for that? Odd.

The scenery is amazing. If you would like to have a quiet time in couple or in family, I definitely recommend. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Reception personnel were attentive, helpful and welcoming thank you. Amazing view from morning to night. Clean, comfortable bed, room was very spacious. Loved the pool and Spa facilities. Loved Loch Ard... delicious cooked breakfasts...the beautifully cured lawn and garden...so refreshing and soothing.

Nice spacious room, plenty big enough for a couple, let alone a solo traveller. Location was nice and peaceful. Gym was ok, little basic but could get a decent enough workout to substitute. Would probably return to the hotel if / when I come back to this area.

Beautiful location beside Loch Ard. Lots of parking spaces. Very well maintained gardens surrounding the hotel. Some people complain about the old decoration. I liked the classic charm of wood panels, big armchairs etc.. makes a change from plastic and harsh lights. Staff were very helpful and polite. Any questions were replied to efficiently with a smile. Our room had a view looking over the gardens to the loch. Bottled water, coffee capsules and shortbread replaced every morning.

Loved that it is far away from the usual day to day yet close to so many locations/attractions. Property had everything we required, including food safely prepared for our celiac daughter. It has ample space for an evening walk, fantastic and freshly prepared food (breakfast/lunch/dinner), as well as a playground for the little ones.

The hotel was clean and well located for exploring Aberfoyle. There was a nice lounge to sit in and the grounds were lovely to walk around. Our room was a good size with chairs as well as a bed. The pool and sauna facilities were clean.
